Her most recognizable role is that of Adalind Schade on the TV series Grimm that she was in since the year 2011. Coffee was also on the show as Cassie Tatum for the TV show The West Wing between 2003-2011 and Janie Rosas in the TV series Franklin & Bash. She also appeared in several episodes of TV series including Yes, Dear, Cold Case, Strong Medicine, NCIS, Bones, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Psych, CSI: Miami, The League, Royal Pains, The Good Guys, CSI: Miami, CSI: Miami, The League, Royal Pains, The Good Guys, etc. Claire Thile married Nick's Chris Thile in 2013.
